Udesha is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with a Master of Science in Photonics from Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Germany and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. With five years of professional experience, she has contributed significantly to electricity projects, power systems, and procurements. Her research expertise lies in manufacturing organic semiconductors using inkjet printing technology.
Udesha’s career journey includes roles as a Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering (Jena, Germany) and as an Electrical Engineer at the Ceylon Electricity Board (Colombo, Sri Lanka), where she successfully led efforts in project completion.
