James Noakes PIEMA FRSA, currently as an Innovation Broker and has recently focused on digital connectivity and smart city approaches. Prior to this he was an Assistant Mayor/Cabinet Member in Liverpool with responsibility for city services, a £2bn infrastructure programme and their smart city approach. He also worked on low carbon innovation business support for the University of Liverpool.
With a career history in climate change, environment, energy, transport and innovation, James is a practitioner member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA); an alumni of the SOLACE Springboard Future Leaders programme, and a Fellow of the RSA. A seasoned environmental professional, he speaks regularly to audiences across the world on environment, sustainability, urban development, smart city, and digital issues. James assists BolgiaTen in a voluntary capacity city and innovation ideas and keeps a clear distinction between his employment role and his assistance to BolgiaTen.
